Modern Arnis is a Filipino martial art that combines stick fighting with Karate, Judo and Jujitsu. Modern Arnis was developed by the late Grandmaster Remy A. Presas as a martial art for modern times based on traditional Filipino fighting systems. Grandmaster Presas introduced this art to the world during the early 70's and actively taught all over the world until his death in 2001. Master Presas always subscribed to the philosophy that Modern Arnis was "The Art within your Art". It does not replace what you already know it only adds a new level of understanding.
