Board of Directors of the IMAF, Inc.

The International Modern Arnis Federation (IMAF) has a strong and active Board of Directors consisting of senior-level Modern Arnis black belts and active instructors. The directors were initially appointed by Professor Remy Amador Presas and currently are formed by active members of the IMAF that are exclusively involved with the IMAF management team. Members of the Board of Directors for IMAF, Inc., are bound to the standards of legal and fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with generally accepted corporate management policies and procedures.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the review and implementation of specific IMAF policies and procedures as approved by the IMAF Standing Committees. The Board is also responsible for the active participation in all of the Standing Committees. Director positions that are vacant receive nominations by any and all active IMAF black belt members. Vacant director positions are filled under the final vote of the Steering Committee and Board of Directors members. Director positions are term positions with duration of 1-3 years as deemed necessary by the Steering Committee.
